Therapists for college students near Boulder, CO
Welcome! Many women in college come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, disconnected, or unsure, often caught in patterns they’re ready to change. You might be navigating college adjustments, emotional stress, social or relationship challenges, trauma or loss, attachment patterns, self-discovery, spirituality, self-esteem or belonging, women’s issues, or major life transitions. Life brings both pain and beauty, and reaching out for support takes courage. My work offers a warm, holistic, and collaborative space to explore these experiences with care, creativity, and solution-focused guidance. Somatic psychotherapy with me provides a space to breathe, slow down, and connect with your inner life and wisdom. Drawing from Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and Dance/Movement Therapy, I integrate body awareness, nervous system and parts work, creative expression, and practical tools to support emotional regulation, insight, and meaningful change. Healing often begins in small moments of being truly met. I believe it unfolds through authentic, non-judgmental connection, where curiosity, attunement, and care create space to rediscover who you are. I offer a warm, supportive presence that nurtures resilience, clarity, self-trust, joy, and a deepening sense of belonging within yourself. Email me to schedule a free 15-minute call to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
Hi, I’m Ana, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy in Colorado. You may appear to have everything together, yet inside you feel exhausted, disconnected, or like you are constantly masking parts of who you are. Many of the people I work with feel caught between identities, cultures, or expectations that never quite feel like home. I work with young adults and adults (18-30s) navigating trauma symptoms, burnout, high-functioning anxiety, identity-related stress, and feeling detached from themselves. Many are college students or early-career professionals trying to understand who they are and build a life that feels more aligned with their identity and values. My approach centers the connection between identity, culture/environment, and the whole Self--mind, body, heart, spirit, and soul. Drawing from somatic therapy, trauma-informed care, multicultural therapy, IFS-informed parts work, and systems perspectives, I help clients understand the protective patterns that once served them, reconnect with themselves on a deeper level, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, intentional, and aligned with who they are. Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you have not always felt understood or supported in other spaces. I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation where we can talk about what brings you here, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
College comes with so many challenges - friends, partners, roommates, classes, and work - all while the world demands our attention! I work with teens and young adults through all kinds of transitions, and I specialize in treating C-PTSD, Anxiety, and OCD. I'm an anti-racist, and both LGBTQIA+ and Neurodivergent affirming.
Are you an overthinker? Do your emotions interfere with your relationships? Our human brains are fascinating in what they allow us to accomplish, but sometimes they can be our own worst enemy! Sometimes overwhelming emotions and unhelpful thoughts interfere with our lives and cause significant distress. I created my practice to help people "be okay when things are not okay." This is done using a person-centered dialectical-behavior therapy (DBT) approach to help you gain insight into yourself while providing you with the tools and encouragement to thrive instead of just survive. I want you to leave each session feeling validated and more confident in your ability to cope with life on life's terms! I also specialize in treating complex PTSD and am trained in EMDR.
I enjoy the experience of witnessing my clients release traumatic events from their core. I know and understand, as I have been there myself, what it feels like to feel weighted down by events/emotions that are no longer in existence. I help my clients release these combinations of events and emotions that no longer serve them.
Spring EOP is here for any step of recovery, whether or not you have been to treatment. We aim to bridge the gap between leaving treatment and the transition back to life. For individuals who need to work, attend school, and have ongoing family obligations, the limited time outpatient therapy provides may not be enough to sufficiently support the investment that’s been made in residential treatment with the continued journey of sobriety. Many clients who have experienced residential treatment find that there is a greater need for clinical support beyond one session weekly; at Spring EOP we are here to support this transition with continued, consistent care. Additionally, we understand not everyone is ready for treatment, a client does not have to be transitioning out of a higher level of care to be an ideal client for us. We are there for every step of the recovery. We offer support to loved ones through CRAFT group as well as therapy for couples, family, and loved ones. We accept ages 15 and up.
I specialize in promoting emotional and relational wellness by addressing concerns about depression, anxiety, and other issues resulting from trauma. I am a naturally intuitive and empathetic person, so part of who I am as a therapist is genuinely enjoying listening to people talk about their lives. My primary goal is to create a safe space for you to explore your feelings - snarkiness, self-deprecating humor, cursing, etc. is all welcome and accepted. Over time, I will help you make sense of your experiences and start to see and understand yourself from a more compassionate perspective. I'm also a neuroscience nerd, so another part of who I am as a therapist is helping you understand how your brain works and the how and why of what we’re doing in therapy. We'll talk about subpersonalities, neuroplasticity, memory networks, and more...but don't worry: I have an extensive library of articles, videos, and memes to help explain things. The most important part of who I am as a therapist is believing that therapy isn't just where you learn how to “deal with” mental health problems, but that for those who are ready, therapy can provide real healing. Using IFS-Informed EMDR, I help clients “reconsolidate” trauma memories, allowing you to experience transformational and lasting change.

Hi, I'm Michael, I understand that tackling life's challenges can feel daunting. We can feel overwhelmed, and not sure where to start. Whether you are going through a tough time or have been grappling with an ongoing mental health concern, therapy can be a tool to help you learn more about yourself and develop strategies to better manage these challenges. Prior to going into private practice I worked in college counseling for 5 years so I am familiar with the unique challenges college students face in managing their mental health while in school. In working with me, clients can expect to have a warm and non-judgmental space where they can work through personal challenges as well as work towards goals and areas of growth. Outside of work I enjoy catching a horror movie, hiking, and spending time with my diva of a cat. Some of my areas of clinical interest include, relationship and family issues, college counseling, trauma, anxiety, non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships, substance use, grief & loss, and depression. I have a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and have experience providing safe and affirming therapy for trans and non-binary clients. If you are interested in learning more about me and my approach to therapy please reach out and we can schedule a free 15 minute consultation. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

With experience in high-acuity and residential settings, I specialize in trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, and acute crisis intervention for adolescents, adults, and families. This includes psychosis, suicidality, substance use, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Together, we'll work on identifying triggers, managing intense emotions, developing effective communication skills, and building healthy coping skills that feel authentic and sustainable, so you can feel safe, emotionally aware, and equipped for lasting healing. Many of my patients feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or disconnected, and struggle with trust, especially within family relationships. If this resonates, you’re not alone. At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to meeting you where you are, as a compassionate, genuine, and trustworthy partner every step of the way. Person-centered, strengths-based, and compassionate care isn't just a framework. It's how I show up for every person I work with. That’s why you can always expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where your unique needs and goals shape each session, and where you always feel safe and heard while building emotional awareness. My approach is calm, collaborative, and warm, with room for authenticity and laughter, because healing feels comes more naturally when the space truly feels like your own. My path to becoming a therapist began with a desire to create positive change by helping those who feel unheard, unseen, or unable to help themselves. That belief has always been at the core of this work: everyone deserves to feel valued, understood, and supported. Experience in high-acuity and residential settings deepened that commitment, working alongside adolescents and families through their hardest moments. When you work with me, you'll find someone who can sit with you through the difficult times while bringing lightness when it's needed. Every session is designed to feel genuine, approachable, and fully in support of your growth. Outside of the therapy room, life is full and family centered. As a mom, much of my time is spent cheering on my kids across a wide range of activities. including wrestling, football, volleyball, track, basketball, boxing, and cheerleading. Giving back to the community is something that matters close to home, too. Supporting my husband's work building a youth football team that creates opportunities for young people from lower-income communities with a passion for the game is a source of real pride and purpose.
My therapeutic emphasis is focused on creating a collaborative, open, safe, judgment-free, warm, and empathetic environment for clients. As we navigated through one of the most challenging years of a pandemic, I understand that you may feel as if there is a weight holding you down in life. If you’re looking for help improving your everyday life – or for a more tailored therapy experience – I believe you would be a great fit. I believe we all have an inner resilience toward life's challenges and sorrows, and by rediscovering that resilience, we can find new meaning and joy in our lives.
