Who knew it would be so difficult to make it on your own, develop new relationships, and face the stresses of your late teens, 20s or 30s? Addressing struggles as you become an adult can present you with immediate and urgent challenges related to family, relationships, money, work, school, and confusion with your overall life path. This period of time is filled with moving from one place to another, sometimes one of familiarity to another one that feels totally foreign. Shifting responsibilities and demands at school or work can certainly cause confusion, self-doubt, and feeling overwhelmed. With these often turbulent years as a backdrop, you might begin to experience new distress that you’ve never felt before or knew existed. The onset of several mental health conditions typically show-up or are now seen as a problem during this time. Many have found that by working with me, they're able to tackle these unfamiliar and unhealthy events head on. This important life stage sets the foundation for the rest of your life; don't feel like you have to go it alone. I founded Grandview Therapy and Consulting, LLC. to provide individual therapy to those grappling with the challenges of adulthood. If you believe I may be a good fit to start you on a path of wellness, I encourage you to visit my website.

About me I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma with my 3 siblings by a single mom and my great x2 uncle who was a former teacher and retired military. They made sure we understood the importance of education, resiliency, discipline and determination. My upbringing and community taught me the importance of needing to have people around who care and nurture different aspects of people. My Approach I look at people as being multifaceted and are influenced by many in their journey. I'm a firm believer that you can decide to change who you are and become who you want to be whenever you decide to. Being willing and open to challenge your own thoughts and behaviors no matter who you are or your age. My approach is transformative through inner work and behavior change.

Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you're navigating stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. You don't have to face those challenges alone. Therapy offers a space to slow down, gain perspective, and work through what is weighing on you. Together, we will explore your concerns, identify your strengths, and develop tools to help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity. My approach to counseling is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that each person brings a unique story, set of experiences, and strengths into the counseling process. Because of this, I strive to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable exploring challenges, gaining insight, and working toward meaningful goals. I work with adults, college students, young adults, couples, athletes, veterans, and older adults. I became a therapist because I genuinely want to provide a space for people to show up just as they are. You don’t need to feel a certain way, say anything specific, or meet any goal on my timeline. When we can sit back and accept ourselves as we are, we begin to hear things we couldn’t while trying to fix or fight parts of ourselves. I believe even the most challenging parts of us have protective purposes—they deserve curiosity, not shame. I work from a place of intuition and connection more than a strict model or method. I believe in being direct and encouraging you to take the risk of getting uncomfortable. At the same time, I’ll meet you with real empathy, patience, and compassion—plus a bit of humor or lightness when it feels right. Finding the right therapist is hard—especially one who truly sees your full, authentic self. If anything you’ve read resonates, I’d love to connect. Reach out for a free consultation and we can see if this is the space you’ve been looking for.

Welcome! Many women in college come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, disconnected, or unsure, often caught in patterns they’re ready to change. You might be navigating college adjustments, emotional stress, social or relationship challenges, trauma or loss, attachment patterns, self-discovery, spirituality, self-esteem or belonging, women’s issues, or major life transitions. Life brings both pain and beauty, and reaching out for support takes courage. My work offers a warm, holistic, and collaborative space to explore these experiences with care, creativity, and solution-focused guidance. Somatic psychotherapy with me provides a space to breathe, slow down, and connect with your inner life and wisdom. Drawing from Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and Dance/Movement Therapy, I integrate body awareness, nervous system and parts work, creative expression, and practical tools to support emotional regulation, insight, and meaningful change. Healing often begins in small moments of being truly met. I believe it unfolds through authentic, non-judgmental connection, where curiosity, attunement, and care create space to rediscover who you are. I offer a warm, supportive presence that nurtures resilience, clarity, self-trust, joy, and a deepening sense of belonging within yourself. Email me to schedule a free 15-minute call to see if we’re a good fit to work together.

Hi, I'm Christine! I primarily work with students in Fort Collins and the Northern Colorado area. I come alongside students who are navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationships, identity, academic or life transitions, and the everyday pressures of being a young adult. I also support students struggling with self-esteem and body image. You may look like you’re doing fine on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or emotionally exhausted on the inside. You may be questioning yourself, overthinking your decisions, struggling to understand what you’re feeling, or simply wishing you had someone you could talk to openly. In therapy, I offer a supportive space to process what you’re going through, better understand yourself and your patterns, and work toward meaningful change.

I am a believer that we are all interconnected. Our relationships matter most to our wellbeing. And while we are living in a time where we are easily able to connect with one another, we have also never been so isolated and alone. The messages we receive from our greater systems often are at odds with what I know contribute to our wellbeing. Because of that we can often feel stuck, less than, or constantly hustling for “that thing.” We can end up chasing the wrong thing and find ourselves perpetually behind or inadequate. Our culture often places so much emphasis on outcomes, appearance, and external or material things. I sincerely believe that they are often at the root of our unhappiness. We often are doing the thing we think will help us but it ultimately harms us! We are doing it wrong. Together we will explore the often painful and uncomfortable spaces within and work from an Inside-Out approach. In doing so, we find that the storms tend to be more universal, we see our common humanity, we develop more self compassion and compassion and empathy for others. When we are our authentic selves, we become more free and our sessions will include plenty of laughing even as we dive into the parts that feel hard. We were never meant to do this life alone. And yet – so many of us are often sold on false narratives that “it’s just you” or have been invalidated, shamed, or traumatized by oppressive systems on the larger scale or within our own homes. My pride in the work is to help you become your best self, the one who is not merely living, but the one who is truly alive. Feeling it all, skin in the game, open to heartbreak, receptive to joy. Facing our pain is not easy (I know this well!). But I know deeply that when we do the right kind of hard, our efforts are fruitful beyond measure. Let’s face this together.
