Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. Starting therapy-especially with someone new— can feel like a big step. As a new therapist, I bring fresh energy, deep curiosity, and a strong commitment to creating a space where you feel seen, supported, and truly yourself. I lead with a person-centered approach and believe that meaningful change happens when you feel safe to explore your thoughts and experiences without judgment. I work primarily with young adults navigating the complexities of identity, relationships, and the many transitions that come with this stage of life. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just unsure of where to begin, you're welcome here exactly as you are. In our work together, you can expect honesty, care, and an affirming environment where all parts of you are invited into the room. This is an LGBTQ+ affirming space, and I'm committed to supporting you in becoming more grounded and secure in yourself while we explore whatever challenges you're facing.

Therapy can be beneficial and instrumental if you are looking for change in your life. We all have the ability to make positive changes to improve our lives. With years of experience working with adolescents, and adults, I am available to support you with daily struggles and achieving life goals. Specializing in issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and acculturation, I have much experience working in the school system and have a strong background in crisis intervention. Hi and welcome! My name is Rhonda Matlack and I have been a Licensed Counselor since 1998. Counseling historically has been something that society has been ashamed of hence many people have suffered needlessly due to lack of support. I'm here to tell you that seeking support and moving toward emotional wellness is deserving of every individual from any walk of life. It is my philosophy that those who reach out for heIp, those that take the risk to be better, those that face their fears will have a sustainable life pattern of coping that leads to wellness. We are all made unique, each one of us is made to serve and benefit in this life with a purpose. Last, I believe healthcare should be made affordable to all, therefore I have a very low sliding scale to offer folks. Get in touch to learn more.

Marc is a seasoned clinician who uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in his work with clients. CBT focuses on exploring relationships among a person's thoughts, feelings and behaviors. During CBT Marc actively works with clients to uncover unhealthy patterns of thought and how they may be causing self-destructive behaviors and beliefs. By addressing these patterns, the client and Marc work together to develop constructive ways of thinking that will produce healthier behaviors and beliefs. For instance, CBT can help clients replace thoughts that lead to low self-esteem ("I can't do anything right") with positive expectations ("I can do this most of the time, based on my prior experiences"). The core principles of CBT are identifying negative or false beliefs and testing or restructuring them. Oftentimes clients being treated with CBT will have homework in between sessions where they practice replacing negative thoughts with more realistic thoughts based on prior experiences or record their negative thoughts in a journal. Studies of CBT have shown it to be an effective treatment for a wide variety of mental illnesses, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, eating disorders and schizophrenia. Individuals who undergo CBT show changes in brain activity, suggesting that this therapy actually improves your brain functioning as well. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has a considerable amount of scientific data supporting its use.

Starting therapy can be an exciting and daunting process. Working with a therapist allows you to have an unbiased third party listen to your story, validate your feelings and emotions and help foster and provide insight and support. Therapy can help you learn new strategies and techniques to help you better tolerate distress and view thoughts, feelings and situations differently. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where we can work together to identify and process issues you have been facing. Together we can reflect on previous thinking patterns and behaviors that have led to distress and discuss new options and possibilities.

For the past decade, Michelle (she/her) has dedicated herself to understanding and supporting the unique journeys of individuals from various walks of life. Her vast experience spans across multiple settings and states, with a significant emphasis on acute care, addressing the needs of people across different age groups and objectives. By cultivating a trauma-informed space, she ensures every client feels safe, valued, and genuinely heard throughout their therapeutic journey. Moreover, Michelle's strengths-based approach empowers clients, helping them harness their inherent potential and pave the way toward their goals. With her, therapy is a collaborative effort, placing equal weight on understanding one's present as much as visualizing and working toward the desired future. Michelle's commitment to inclusivity and individualized care is evident in her extensive training with reputable institutions such as the Transgender Training Institute, Open Sky, and MaMHCA. Beyond formal education, she constantly seeks out diverse resources to refine her expertise, ensuring her approach is both informed and empathetic. Welcome! We offer relational talk therapy to college students, graduate students, and couples. We especially enjoy working with high-achieving students who may look like they have it all together on the outside, but inside are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of themselves. College can bring a lot of change—new relationships, academic pressure, big decisions, shifting identities, and figuring out who you are outside of everyone else’s expectations. At Insights, therapy is a space where you don’t have to perform, achieve, or have all the answers. Our therapists are warm, genuine, and relational. We’ll help you better understand yourself, navigate relationships, build confidence, set boundaries, and create a life that feels meaningful and authentic to you. Whether you’re adjusting to college, navigating friendships or dating, struggling with perfectionism or people-pleasing, experiencing anxiety or stress, or simply wanting a space to talk things through, we’d love to connect with you.

Hello, I am an emotionally focused therapist interested in helping people improve their view of self and other, and to get more joy out of their relationships. I have a particular interest in working with couples and healing childhood trauma. Between the ages of 18-22, many people enter a pivotal period of independence and self-exploration. It is often a time when young adults begin to reflect on their childhood and family relationships with greater depth, clarity, and emotional awareness. How these relationships are processed can have lifelong impact. I can help support this reflective process so that it leads to healing, growth, and a stronger sense of self.

Have you ever felt like you’re doing everything you’re “supposed” to do, but still feel overwhelmed, lost, or unsure of where you fit? Maybe you’re trying to balance classes, work, relationships, family expectations, and your own goals while quietly wondering, “Am I the only one struggling with this?” I work with young adults, including first generation students of diverse backgrounds, who are navigating big transitions and trying to figure out who they are while building the life they want. This may look like feeling stuck, dealing with academic or career stress, struggling with anxiety or burnout, feeling pressure to succeed, or trying to find your place in a new environment. As a bilingual therapist and someone who is first-generation, I understand the challenges of finding yourself while balancing family expectations, culture, and your own goals. Therapy can be a space to explore your identity, build confidence, and create a life that feels authentic to you. Whether you are struggling with stress, perfectionism, relationships, grief, major life changes, or simply feeling like you’re not where you want to be, I provide a supportive space where you can feel understood and develop tools to move forward. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start therapy. Sometimes reaching out is the first step toward understanding yourself better and creating meaningful change.

The desire for connection with others is hardwired into our brains. We want to be loved, to love, and to feel seen and heard by those we're connected to. Sometimes that doesn't happen and we're hurt, or we're scared to talk about how we feel because we fear being judged. Understanding who we are and how to best build healthy relationships is hard. It's even harder when roadblocks like infertility, unexpected pregnancies, or other issues related to family relationships are present. I provide therapy for people of all genders who are processing challenges related to identity, managing change, relationships, infertility, pregnancy, and parenting. My compassionate and direct approach provides a space for you to feel safe and supported.
